Pastor Lacey is on a three month sabbatical. We pray for her and for her rest. And we ourselves will rest into a time of reflection while she’s gone. For the first four weeks of this sabbatical time, we’ll explore what it is to be a member here, what grounds us in our values, what roots us in love, what connects us to each other and to the divine? This sabbatical time is a weighty and wonderful opportunity to explore our faith together, and to reassess where we are, what we might need and want, and how we might strengthen and grow – inside ourselves and in our community. We’ll explore these questions through stories from our members, through inspiring words from our UCC Conference, and through the imaginative and powerful voices of our youth. And we’ll begin this time of sabbath reflection Sunday, August 3, as we celebrate our Vacation Bible School experiences from this weekend.
If you are unable to participate in worship on Sunday morning, you may worship during the week using the videos of worship in our Worship Archive.
If you have questions about CUCC’s ongoing ministries during this sabbatical time, contact any member of Council (in Breeze) or Pastor Śānti (education.cucc@gmail.com.
