Sunday mornings, 9:00am – 9:30am, on Zoom

Join in a service of quiet meditation, scripture reading, singing of chants and other simple repetitive hymns or songs, and prayer. A unique feature of Taizé is the substantial silent time for meditation. On the third Sunday we share communion. Taizé originated with the Taizé community in France.

At Community United Church of Christ, Taizé is planned and led by lay people from the congregation. Attendance of about a dozen people gives this service an intimate atmosphere. We regularly welcome people from other congregations who begin their Sundays with us, then go to their home church for their major worship service.  Because we worship on Zoom, people join us from out of state. Feel free to drop in on this service at any time even if you don’t plan to attend regularly.

After worship, we remain in Zoom for conversation.  This is a good time to meet a few people and ask questions about CUCC.
