Thank you to those who are dropping of their unopened packs of plastic utensils. I was able to deliver a big pile to the Helen Wright Center. The Center says these are a big help.
Of course, it is always best for God’s creation if we use reusable utensils and to ask your take out service not to put plastic utensils in your bag. But if you end up with them anyway, bring them to the brown bucket below the coat rack in the hall.
I did confirm that the the Center wants only unopened packs of utensils; they cannot accept loose utensils even if you never used them or ran them through the dishwasher.
