-Laughter and storytelling.

Phil writes: “I served on the Board of Directors at Blowing Rock Conference Center for several years and they were always trying to involve more individuals from the Eastern North Carolina Association of the UCC [that’s us!]. I thought this would be a good opportunity for CUCC members to a part of an organization which serves at the conference level. Usually there will be a gathering after dinner on Friday and between breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Individuals can be provided a tour of the facility on Saturday if they want. I know the focus for this weekend is preparing for BRCC’s 75th anniversary. Sometimes Claudette will go into Boone or Blowing to do some shopping Saturday morning depending if App. St. has a home football game or if there is a snow storm.”
