Advent starts Sunday, Nov 28!
Our theme this year is Draw Near. You will start to see the advent of Advent throughout Community UCC activities. A full calendar of worship, fellowship and service events fills our weeks through Advent and the Christmas season to Epiphany. We hope you will find ways to draw near to God and your church community, to find hope, peace, joy and love, to connect with others and to feel God’s love for you.
This year’s holiday calendar provides opportunities to gather in person and on Zoom. Safety remains a priority as the weather turns colder and we’ll all be inside more.

Nov 28 – Youth get tree, children make ornaments during Sunday school (deadline to sign up for gingerbread house kit)
Nov 30 – Informational meeting on Zoom regarding potential June 2022 intergenerational racial justice pilgrimage
Dec 1 – Wed evening in person fellowship event (pick up gingerbread house kit)
Dec 7 – Let’s Ask a Baby Zoom event
Dec 12 – Christmas pageant during worship. Evening Christmas party – all are welcome!
Dec 14 – Gingerbread Tour of Homes Zoom event
Dec 19 – Special music during worship. Caroling after worship. Youth provide meal for Wright Center
Dec 21 – Solstice poetry on Zoom
Dec 24 – 5pm Christmas Eve worship service
Dec 28 – Share an Ornament on Zoom
