In keeping with the Advent theme of “Eyes of a Child,” the Community Outreach Ministry is taking donations
for three of the agencies CUCC supports.
Collections of items from December 4 to 18
Place unwrapped donations for both of these nonprofits in the outside box on the courtyard-side narthex door or in the Vaughan Fellowship Hall.
InterAct of Wake County – Please donate diapers, pull ups and wipes for the children of the individuals who utilize InterAct’s services.
Neighbor to Neighbor – Please donate items for the token store for the children 8-13. These items are used when the children earn points and turn the points in for “prizes.” Examples of items are notebooks, pencils, small gifts, etc. Please donate items that are worth at least $10 each.
Special offering December 11
Method Child Development Center – On December 11, we will be taking up a special offering for the Jan Sharp
Memorial Scholarship fund. Put your donation in the offering plate with “Method” on the memo line, donate online selecting “Method,” or text “Method” to 919-888-4541.
This fund is used to help low income families receive affordable and dependable childcare and early education. CUCC is one of five founding congregations of Method Child Development Center.
