NewsAdvent Winter Solstice Poetry Sharing and Conversation December 21, 7-8PM on Zoom

Wednesday, December 21, 7:00-8:00 PM

on Zoom

Let’s all honor, celebrate and draw near to the Winter Solstice, the longest night. Waiting in the dark can feel difficult and yet it can also be a time of deep blessing. Treasures can be found in the stillness and depth of the night. Let’s enjoy the comfort of each other’s company as we wait together in the dark, sharing poetry, scripture, and story. You are invited to find or write a favorite reading to share, turn off your lights, light a candle, and join us on Zoom as we draw near to the deep darkness.

This evening is the final in our series of Advent Conversations and Bible Study and will last longer than our usual Wednesday evening Bible conversations.

You can find the Zoom link in the Monday Online Events email or by contacting this evening’s leader, Pastor Śānti Matthews education.cucc@gmail.com.
