NewsMarch 30 Property Work Day

The weather is looking promising for this Saturday’s spring work day. I hope that you’ll be able to join us for an hour or two starting at 8 a.m. and wrapping up around noon. We’ll have projects for all ages, interests and abilities with a few major projects to tackle. Doughnuts and other goodies will keep us fueled!

Major project list

  • Remove pine straw from the children’s playground that has become too thick to provide stable footing for toddlers. (Wheelbarrows would be helpful.)
  • Install a treated lumber edging along the path between the parking lots and fill the area with Chapel Hill grit. (Wheelbarrows would be helpful.)
  • Weeding along the Dixie Trail and Wade Avenue banks (being careful not to pull out the decorative grasses planted last fall!)
  • Hang the Creation Justice Church banner on side of Pilgrim House.

See you on Saturday!
