ALL SAINTS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 30
On Sunday, Oct. 30 we will celebrate All Saints Day during our 10:30am worship. The church consists of not only all living Christians, but also all who have gone before us. Hebrews 12 encourages Christians to remember that a “great cloud of witnesses” surrounds us encouraging us, cheering us on.
All Saints Sunday is a day of remembrance and celebration. Through a ritual everyone will have a chance to call out the name of a loved one who has died. Between now and then, be thinking about who you want to remember. It doesn’t matter if they died many years ago; we know that grief can last a lifetime.
Who are your Saints? See you in worship on October 30.
