CUCCers have missed the most fun, in-person event of the year! The annual auction gives a big boost to our revenue, yes. It also gives us the opportunity to create a wildly fun night together AND to make a few social plans for the rest of the year.
Some of the best auction items donated are special meals around the dining tables in our homes, guided tours or hikes in nature by CUCC experts, game or movie nights, beer or wine tasting, tutoring, babysitting and technology or garden coaching. Great memories and connections are made as we get to know each other in these ways.
Friends are asking if we should wade into the auction waters this spring! Many fun tasks await if we are to reap the many benefits. The first question is— Are we ready to offer some creative items and events to fill the auction booklet?
Come to this open Zoom meeting with your ideas. Hear what others have enjoyed and might be ready to offer up as we feel the pull of putting life back together this spring. Maybe some new ideas will emerge, too.
