Thank you to each of you who dropped off your unopened packages of plastic knives, forks, and/or spoons in our yellow collection box under the hallway coat rack. We dropped them off at the Helen Wright Center for Women this week.
We know you always remember to add a note in your take out orders NOT to include the plastic ware – no plastic is the best option. But when they deliver it to you anyway, we appreciate your bringing the UNOPENED packages to our collection box. Sadly once they are opened we have to trash them.
We also collect UNOPENED toiletries from hotels for the shelter in the adjacent yellow box.
