Life & Faith is delighted to host the first session of the four-part series “Glimpses of a New Creation” looking at the arts in worship. “Glimpses” is brought to us by CUCC’s Arts in Worship Committee and is helping us think about the arts in worship – both on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. Read more about the series here, then plan to bring a friend.
On March 7 we’ll follow our usual Life & Faith practice of beginning with a question and then everyone chiming in with thoughts, stories and questions of their own. Our starting question March 7 is “If art is in your daily life and worship is in your daily life, what do they have to say to each other?”
If you have a friend who enjoys talking about art and how it impacts what we do and how we connect to God, bring them along.
We will meet at Transfer Co Food Hall. Arrive at 6:30 if you want to buy dinner or a libation from the food court; conversation is from 7-8PM. Look for the Life & Faith red commas on our table in the sunken area of the main floor. Transfer Co. has its own (free) well-lit parking lot, with accessible parking spaces in the driveway off Davie Street and a lot behind the building. There are several food stalls open offering a variety of foods, including vegan and vegetarian. The sunken area can be accessed by a gentle ramp.
Life & Faith has two guidelines: What is said at Life & Faith stays at Life & Faith. We tip generously.
