After worship we will process to the courtyard to adorn the resurrection cross, symbolizing our Easter joy. We invite you to bring a flower to stick in the chicken wire that forms the cross. Flowers can be single stem (like a daffodil, iris, or tulip) or a flowering, short twig (like dogwood or azalea). Take a cutting from your garden or pick up a bloom that means something to you from the store. If your garden is full of blooms, consider bringing a few extras to put in the water buckets in the courtyard so that those without gardens have a flower to place on the cross.
Consider asking a friend to snap your photo in front of the cross during the Easter potluck. These make great social media selfies or Christmas card photos.
If you have questions, contact Susan Hasbrouck or Autumn Cobeland of Sacraments and Chancel Committee.
