CUCC honors God’s gift of CUCC friend and former member, Mary Kilburn, who died November 15, 2021. A celebration of her life will be held at Pullen Memorial Baptist Church on January 29, 2022.

Mary joined United Church, our predecessor congregation, in 1961 and remained a member of CUCC until 1990 when she transferred her membership, I believe to Pullen. She remained a CUCC friend, most recently being an active participant in the Saturday Morning Book Group, a gathering of folks from several area churches who would spend weeks discussing an intellectually dense book of theology or political theory.
