“I will pour out my spirit on all people”
For the third year at CUCC, we will gather in the fellowship hall and courtyard following worship to mark this day of celebration for the gift of the Holy Spirit. The church is alive and the spirit moves! All are invited to stay after worship for an hour or so and partake:
- Picnic style lunch provided
- tower of sandwiches, chips, fruit and drinks provided (some vegan and gluten free options)
- ice cream truck
- no RSVP
- contact Susan Atkinson regarding any food requests (booatkinson@mac.com)
- Wear red for Pentecost!
- Share “what’s speaking to you” with folks on Zoom and in person
- Games on the lawn
- Word play opportunities
Pentecost’s emphasis on sharing the spirit and understanding many different voices provides the perfect opportunity to gather “all together in one place.” Please consider coming on campus for this event even if you haven’t done so in awhile. Most activities will be outdoors and mask wearing will be encouraged indoors. Zoom participants will be able to share a moment of gathering in the fellowship hall before the picnic begins. All are welcome!
