NewsBenevolence Farm cultivates leadership, promotes sustainable livelihoods, and reaps structural change.

Pastor Lacey was contacted by a fellow UCC pastor about an organization in Alamance County called Benevolence Farm. It provides transitional work and living space for women leaving prison, and it is embarking on a drive to raise funds to build 6 tiny homes on its property.

CUCC’s Community Outreach Ministry will match gifts to support this project, up to $500. If you are moved to contribute, you may:

  • drop off or mail a check to CUCC.  Memo line “Benevolence Farm” to support the whole program, “tiny homes” for the new project.
  • donate via our website, selecting “Match”
  • text “Match” to 919-888-4541

Donations will be matched throughout the month of May.
