The Community Outreach Ministry (COM) introduces the congregation to opportunities to address the practical needs of people now.
Most projects are one-and-done, with opportunities to pitch in on a hands-on volunteer project, walk to raise funds with a local group, or donate specific items to a local nonprofit. These are often intergenerational projects. Projects follow the interests of someone at Community UCC who hears of an opportunity for us to help and wants to mobilize the congregation to pitch in.
Upcoming projects are announced in CUCC News & Events. Volunteer! Bring a friend!
If you are inspired to work on a community project not listed here, bring your energy and talents to COM and we’ll help you figure out how to get others at Community UCC involved.
