News5 people from CUCC stand along Wade Avenue with signs encouraging climate action

CUCC’s people encouraged commuters on Wade Avenue to “read the signs; be the change” on climate.  The third annual Prayer Chain for the Earth provided encouragement to passersby and to those holding signs.  Fifteen CUCCers were part of the over 125 person witnesses lining Wade Avenue from Community UCC to Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh.  We were greeted by waves and happy honks from drivers.  We are grateful to the Interfaith Creation Care of the Triangle for calling us together, and are happy to serve as one of the two host congregations.  CUCC is a member of ICCT.
