The CUCC youth served a warm and comforting Mexican meal to 72 appreciative women at The Wright Center on Sunday! All the food was excellent and women came back for seconds and thirds and raved about everything! We thank Holy Trinity Lutheran Church for making gorgeous chicken and veggie casseroles, the Stuckey family for making beans and rice and the Burkhardt family also for making beans and rice. And thank you to KayJay and Family for bringing a beautiful array of cookies! We also served lemonade and a Mexican salad that was a hit – with a mixture of ranch dressing and salsa as the dressing. Who knew?
We had a great serving line of friendly youth who moved quickly and also offered prayers and sang We Wish You a Merry Christmas!
Thanks everyone!
