Do you enjoy answering questions about your eBike, eScooter, EV or EV-hybrid car or truck? On September 14 (October 19 rain date) after worship, Justice in a Changing Climate will be hosting an electric vehicle show for our members and apartment-dwelling neighbors. This is an opportunity for electric-curious folks to ask questions of trusted friends who have taken the plunge of purchasing an electric mode of transportation. We know that deciding to transition to electric is daunting, and the purpose of this event is to allow people to ask questions among friends with no pressure to buy.
We have a few folks signed up already to bring their EV/EV hybrid car or eBike, but would love to have more makes and types of electric vehicles on site. You can sign up to show your vehicle here.
What we are asking you to do
- Provide us with a little information about your vehicle on the registration form.
- Bring your vehicle to the Dixie Trail parking lot between 9:15 and 10:00 AM Sunday, September 14 (rain date October 19); parking attendants will show you where to park.
- Stand with your bike, scooter, car or truck from 11:30 to 12:30 during fellowship, answering questions about your experience with your vehicle.
When you register, we ask you to agree to these rules.
- Because we want to enable everyone to see every vehicle I will keep my vehicle parked during the show.
- Because we want vehicle owners to have control of their vehicles, it is my decision whether to allow people to sit in/on my vehicle.
- Because we want to protect CUCC, I will not hold the church liable for any damage to my vehicle during the show.
If you have questions about the show, contact Gary Smith, chair of Justice in a Changing Climate (in Breeze or via office.cucc@gmail.com).
