NewsProject leader stands next to the display panel describing why he undertook this Eagle Scout project

CUCC member Ian Burkhardt recently put the finishing touches on his Eagle Scout project – a nesting tower for a pair of Chimney Swifts. The tower also contains four display areas, three of which Ian set aside for CUCC’s use. The fourth area showcases Ian’s reasons for building the tower as a part of his pursuit of the Boy Scouts’ highest honor.

In the coming months, CUCC volunteers will use their creative skills to embellish the tower with artwork and share the congregation’s environmental message. If you’d like to be a part of that effort, please contact Property Ministry Chairperson Merrilee Jacobson at 919-274-4539.
