End of Life series
November 16 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, happening 3 times
In November, we continue with Tuesday night opportunities to gather (on Zoom). Our Religious Education Ministry will bring us a chance to explore a three week End of Life series on Zoom, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 9, and 16.
Remembering on November 2 will allow us time to tell stories, show photos, and share about our loved ones who have died. We will also get a virtual tour of the Ofrenda Memorial Meditation Garden.
Planning on November 9 will include our own Mike Sobeiero who will lead discussion and provide end of life information from his perspective as a physician. We will also hear from guest speaker Dyanne Miller of Pine Forest Memorial Gardens who will tell us everything we’ve ever wanted to know about green burial. She will also share about the Garden of Renewal – the only Green Burial Council approved Natural Burial Ground in NC.
Grieving on November 16 will allow us to better understand, cope with, and process our grief. Jeanell Cox will be our guest speaker for this hour. Jeanell serves as the Chaplain at Glenaire Retirement Community. She has a special interest and heart for providing end-of-life and bereavement care.
Watch for more details in the eNews and on the website, and find the Zoom link in your Monday email prior to each of the three Tuesday nights.
