Life & Faith

Yes, September 6 is Labor Day Monday, and Life & Faith will meet at 6:45PM (conversation to start at 7:15PM) at High Park Bar and Grill.  This should give those “a pealing for peace” bell ringers an opportunity to witness at CUCC, then make it over to Life & Faith.  Raleigh looks gorgeous on Monday so we’ll try to grab some tables outside on the sidewalk (not under the roof).

September back up question

Jane will be traveling to the Wild Goose Festival this weekend.  Her back up question will (she hopes) be an inspiration from one of the many talks, songs, art installations, movies, or conversations over the four days.  “The Goose” is a four day festival of justice, spirituality, and the arts rooted in the Christian story.  As always, Jane welcomes you to bring your own question to our discussion.

If you are new to CUCC or perhaps never had a Monday to check out Life & Faith, read here.  Anyone interested in the conversation is welcome to drop in.  We never know who will drop by and would love to have you join the conversation. Look for the red “Life & Faith” comma in the burgundy vase on our table.

A word about location

We have noticed that hearing one another at High Park has become more of a challenge.  Jane is scouting out other venues.  If you know of a place that offers affordable food and libations (with and without alcohol), has ample, well-lit parking, and is okay with a group of uncertain numbers (6-12) dropping in, let her know.
