Fifteen CUCC members participated in the annual Triangle CROP Walk on October 27, helping to raise funds to combat hunger in our community and around the world. This year, some of the funds will be used to address food insecurity in the badly damaged western portion of North Carolina.
To date, CUCC has raised $2,230 towards its goal of $3,000. It’s not too late to make a donation through the team’s web site (https://events.crophungerwalk.org/cropwalks/team/community-united-church-of-christ) or CUCC’s Breeze site (select “CROP Walk.”) You can also place a check in the church offering plate (with a memo line notation of “CROP Walk”) or give a check made payable to “CWS/CROP” to Mike Schafale or Merrilee Jacobson. Thanks for your support of this important initiative.
