Game on!

The creative and amazing Cyrus led us on a fantastical journey this week as he facilitated a D&D game for a group of adults and youth (several of us were brand new to the game)! The band of eager participants included Aspen (a rogue half-elf), Shaleem (a wizard elf), Parlaq Isiq (a sorcerer half elf), Vik (a ranger dwarf), Quell (a barbarian halfling), and Sage (a cleric gnome). The quest was laid out for us with command and finesse by our dungeon master Cyrus (our leader, Kepper). Kepper was a retired horse wrangler in the town of Tumbledowns, and he gave us our challenge – to break in three new horses: Caramel, Earl Grey, and Lemon Zinger. But the plot thickened as Mr.Tibbles the frog, Dr. Brittlebottom, a pack of wolves, knights on horseback, and a two story humanoid complicated the mission. We might’ve lost heart or gotten confused, but Cyrus helped us all to succeed and to enjoy the game. His patience and imagination gave us all a sense of victory! What fun! Thank you CUCC Auction! and thank you Cy (or should I say Kepper?)!
