The Sunday Morning Bible Study will begin reading the Gospel of John through the Advent Season. Richard Rohr started The Universal Christ (our most recent study) with the observation that “Christ is not Jesus’s last name” but “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God.” Throughout the Universal Christ Rohr draws upon texts within the Gospel of John so we want our reading of this Gospel through the lens of Rohr’s insights.

For any who still have it or want to get it, we will supplement our reading with John Shelby Spong’s The Fourth Gospel: Tales of a Jewish Mystic.

We hope you can join us.  For more information, contact Bill Lamb william.e.lamb@gmail.com.  Bill can give you the Zoom link, or look in the Monday CUCC Online Events email from the office.  If you are in the building, go to the Hoffman Room where others are joining those on Zoom.
