During Advent, CUCC’s choir brought us a cantata featuring songs from the southwest, music with deep origins in Hispanic cultures. Each of us has experienced cultures different from our culture of origin, whether through travel, reading, work, or even the families of our friends. Let’s reflect together on how the cultures we have experienced have influenced how we live our faith. What practices have you adopted? What art and rituals inform the rhythms of your days? Are there attitudes that have altered how you view the world?
