Hi CUCC members!
We’re planning a Racial Justice Pilgrimage this summer and need to know by Sunday, February 13 if CUCC members want to join in! If you have any interest, please follow the link below to a short form with just two questions for you to answer by February 13.
As indicated on the form, planning for this trip is underway, and we need to know if you want to come along on this five-day racial justice trip to nine sites in four southern cities. We also need your input to decide between two different weeks in June. (Estimated cost is $650 per person – less if you drive your own car and more if you require a single occupancy room.) Fundraising efforts will help provide scholarship funds for those who need them. We are trying to make it as accessible and affordable as possible. Hearing soon from interested folk will help us plan a wonderful pilgrimage that is also economically viable. Please consider joining us if you’d value a pilgrimage to:
- build community,
- become more educated about racial injustice in our country,
- and return equipped and prepared to educate others, and to catalyze and facilitate efforts toward achieving racial equity and healing.
Again, for those interested, here’s the link to the short questionnaire.
If you need to have questions answered before you can complete the form, please contact Roger Manus, Jim Smith, or Santi Matthews.
Thank you!
