Thank you to everyone who brought their unused toiletries and wrapped plastic utensils to the boxes under the CUCC coat rack in the hall. The boxes were overflowing after Christmas, and Jane Smith has made a delivery to the Helen Wright Center for Women. The Center finds that wrapped plastic utensils and individual sized toiletries work well for the women they serve.
Remember… when you place a take out order, say “no utensils, please.” But if you get them anyway, bring them (unwrapped) to CUCC for the Helen Wright Center!

One ongoing project is preparing food for and serving a meal at the Center; cooks/servers are needed. CUCC also supports the Center financially through your pledges to the church budget.
