Recently, staff members reported finding doors unlocked in the Vaughan Fellowship Hall when they were the first to arrive at the church. In addition, there were two occurrences when a staff member and a volunteer found individuals wandering through the building after entering through an unlocked narthex door.
To keep our staff, members and visitors safe, please check all doors to make sure they’re locked if you’re the last person leaving the building. And, of course, please lock any door that you unlock. By working together, we can ensure that everyone feels safe when entering our church buildings.
If you would have questions about how to lock the doors, talk with Property Ministry Chair Merrilee Jacobson (in Breeze or via office.cucc@gmail.com).
