In the sanctuary, communion will be served in disposable cups, with pre-cut bread. The deacons will serve communion from two stations at the front of the sanctuary. We’ll slip off our masks briefly when we eat together, then mask up again. On the livestream, bring your own “bread and wine,” whether orange juice and a bagel or coffee and a cracker.
At Community United Church of Christ we practice an “open table,” meaning that you do not have to be a member of our church to participate. You don’t have to be baptized or have gone through a confirmation process. The only prerequisite is an open heart.
