On Monday, January 17, Lacey, Lena, Julie, Doug, and Śānti worked from 1-4PM at the Food Bank Distribution Center in Raleigh. Our small but mighty group joined a slightly larger group and sorted grocery donations from Food Lion. We listened to hits from the eighties while sorting and organizing everything from mac-n-cheese to chickpeas to chocolate to charcoal. By the end we had all packed about 8,000 meals for our neighbors who are experiencing food insecurity.
