NewsMay we borrow your soup ladle?

Our first CUCC Chili Cook Off is coming January 21 and we would like to borrow your soup ladle!

With 15 chilis in the competition, we need more ladles than CUCC has.  Contact Jane Smith if you are willing to bring your ladle to worship January 7 or 14.  She will mark your precious ladle with tape when you hand-deliver it to her. Pick up your ladle at the end of the competition.

Mark your calendar for January 21 after worship for our first CUCC Chili Cook Off!

We will have chilis of all kinds: with meat and vegan, mild / medium / hot.  Two chilis are parent-approved as child-friendly.

Sounds like fun… how can I help?

Jane Smith is looking for 20 helpers to do one of the many small jobs needed to pull off this event.  Yes, all helpers will get to eat chili!  smithjeg@mindspring.com

Free delicious food and a #LoveinAction bonus

When many of us think of chili at CUCC, we think of Shannon and Glenn Core. For years, the Cores helped Loaves and Fishes Ministry make chili for their annual winter fundraiser. Then Shannon would take orders from us at CUCC and deliver our orders on one joyful Sunday. To honor the Cores and their commitment to Loaves and Fishes, we invite you to donate a few dollars at the cook off.
