Disposable foam earplugs are now available for anyone who might find them helpful during Sunday worship or at other events at CUCC. Whether you’re sensitive to sound or simply wanting a little more quiet, you are welcome to use them—no explanation needed. The earplugs share a basket with the reading glasses on the narthex table; unlike the “readers” which we hope you will return, please do not return the earplugs to the basket. Each packet contains two disposable earplugs.
We know that everyone experiences community differently, and we want our shared spaces to be as comfortable and accessible as possible.
Please help us evaluate whether providing foam earplugs is useful. If you take a pair, would you let Alice Davis or Robert Parrish, the Accessible to All Working Group (A2A)’s contact people, know about your experience? Catch them after worship or find their contact information in Breeze or via office.cucc@gmail.com.
