NewsAn arrow points to an egg carton sitting on top of the CSA bin in the Vaughan Fellowship Hall storage closet.

Thank you to all of you who bring your clean, used egg cartons to CUCC so that we can pass them along to the Lakay Farm which provides eggs to our CSA.  Please drop them off on top of the “CSA” bin in the Vaughan Fellowship Hall storage closet (the one with the folding chairs and refrigerator).

Did you know CUCC also collects

  • wrapped plastic utensils and unopened toiletries?  These go in the boxes below the hall coatrack and are taken to the Helen Wright Center for Women.
  • old household batteries and unbroken  florescent bulbs?  Hand these to Gary or Jane Smith (do not leave them at CUCC because they are hazardous).  We taken them for proper disposal to the Wake County Convenience Center.

Find other ways to dispose of your unwanted items by using the Raleigh Reuse and Waste Phone App or Website Tool.
