CUCC has worked diligently to become more accessible to all, but there’s a learning curve. What if I say or do something that offends a person with disabilities? What if I offer help in the wrong way? Do I refer to someone as a blind person or a person who’s blind? A panel with lived experienced offered guidance at Tuesday’s “Lunch with Friends” and introduced CUCC’s new A2A Brochure. Following the program, attendees enjoyed a salad buffet and a special cake and ice cream dessert that celebrated the A2A (Accessible to All) group’s efforts.
