Join the walk at the botanical gardenRescheduled

NC Botanical Garden (Chapel Hill) Hike OR Stroll
New date:  May 28, carpool departing CUCC Dixie Trail lot just before 10AM
$12 per person

Hike the wooded trails of the property with Roger and Beverly OR stroll the garden with Mac. We suggest you bring a bag lunch so you can have a bite to eat on the grounds of the Botanical Garden before departing for a scoop of Maple View ice cream and then returning to Raleigh.

Take a walk with Lena and Jennifer to learn about how controlled burns make healthy bird habitats.Several spaces open:
Explore the forest for Birds and Burns
May 14 from 8-11am
$10 per person

Join Lena and Jenn as they share their respective expertise. Wear sturdy footwear for this 1.5 mile hike through NCSU’s Schenck Forest. Binoculars will be useful as we learn about migratory and resident birds as well as how controlled burns benefit birds and forest health.

Skip and Nancy are trivia game aficionados and also bring a seasoned host with them to lead a roomful of folks in a lively evening of competitive questioning.

Paper crafting and good eats around the table with friends. Śānti will lead us in simple tutorials that result in lovely items to take home. Includes magical fairy dust!

Fall Saturday starting at 10am

C’mon! Lisa will navigate us through 20 miles on the Greenway at a pace that works for the group. Get your green on!

Also known as the first cocktail party of the new year, Jason, Maria, Susan and Paul put on the dog for a good sized crowd one more time to close out the holidays.
