Two teams from CUCC will be presenting on CUCC projects at the Wild Goose Festival this Friday, July 12. Pray for them throughout the festival weekend (July 11-14) as they talk with people from around the country for a weekend of justice, spirituality, and the arts. A prayer for cool, gentle breezes and dry weather would be welcome, too.
Climate crisis + Justice + Faith communities = Solutions & Tools Swap is any opportunity to hear from other faith communities and to share what we have done at CUCC. The discussion is being convened by Jane and Gary Smith. They hope to bring back tested ideas from other congregations that we might adapt at CUCC. This session is Friday, July 12, noon-12:50.
Making a Racial Justice Pilgrimage with Your Faith Community: CUCC’s Racial Justice Pilgrimage participants Judy Christopher, Roger Manus, Jim Smith, and Jane and Gary Smith will tell stories about the impact of CUCC’s 2022 Pilgrimage on them. Then Roger will share details and answer questions about how workshop participants might organize a racial justice pilgrimage for their congregation. This session is Friday, July 12, 3:00-3:50PM.
