Dust off your bike and inflate your tires – it’s time for the Break the Cycle ride which raises funds for The Women’s Center, a nonprofit serving homeless women in the Triangle.  Riders of all ages are welcome!

The registration fee (“Ticket”) is $33.46 including processing charges.

When is Break the Cycle?

Sunday, September 26 in the morning, or ride at your own convenience

How long is the ride?

There are 3 options.

  • Short Ride 3 Miles 10:30 AM (Registration day of event 10:00 AM)
  • Long Ride 30 Miles 8:00 AM (Registration day of event 7:30 AM)
  • Virtual Ride (Choose your day, time, ride map to benefit homeless women)

Where are we riding?

The ride begins at The Women’s Center (400 S. West St., Raleigh, NC 27601) and finishes at Transfer Food Hall (500 E. Davie St., Raleigh, NC 27601). Routes are coming soon.

Are children welcome?

Yes!  This ride is for all ages.

What else do I need to know?

A T-Shirt is included with ticket.

At the terminus at Transfer Food Hall there will be food and festivities.

What is the connection between CUCC and The Women’s Center?

Your pledge towards CUCC’s budget supports The Women’s Center via the Community Outreach Ministry line.  We also take up occasional collections of items that they need – most recently flip flops collected during VBS 2021.

How does The Women’s Center support women?

The Women’s Center is unique in that it is the only crisis intervention and assessment center in The Triangle serving homeless women and women at risk.  Read more about their impact here.
