Each year, Families Together provides a Thanksgiving dinner “kit” to all of the families served by the nonprofit in the past 12 months. It’s a wonderful way to start the holidays for a family in their new, stable housing situation. If you’d like provide a kit, the list of ingredients is below. Merrilee Jacobson, an FT board member, will be glad to pick up the kit at your house or get it from you at church.

The Thanksgiving meal kit should be delivered by November 10.
The following provides a meal for a family of 4:
$25 gift card to Food Lion or Walmart for turkey and dairy items
2 cans of green beans
1 can of cranberry sauce
1 can canned sweet potatoes
1 bag small marshmallows
1 box of Jiffy cornbread mix
1 graham cracker crust
1 can pumpkin pie mix
5 oz. can evaporated milk
Salt & pepper
Disposable roasting pan
1 roll of foil
