The pageant is the heart of the December 12 10:30 worship service and will be visible on the livestream, too.
CUCC’s Christmas pageant is a series of vignettes which bring to life a reading of the stories of the birth of Jesus. CUCC’s children, with help from their older church siblings, are decked out in costume and, at the change of each scene, the congregation sings the verse of a carol.
Parents – A few important things to help you plan
- Please remember that everyone over age 2 will need to wear a mask in the pageant. Anne Bailey has child-sized masks in her classroom if someone forgets.
- On pageant day please arrive by 10:15 AM to get into costumes and report to the appropriate staging area. If you are new to the pageant, your child will be able to follow an experienced child or teen to know where to stand. Because the worship service is both livestreamed and a recording placed on our website, Anne Bailey will ask you to fill out a registration & release form as part of our Safe Church commitment.
- Following the pageant we will have a snack on the playground (weather permitting).
