NewsCROP Hunger Walk 2025

Want to alleviate hunger in our community and around the world? Then support the CROP Walk! The Triangle event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8 with registration beginning at 10 a.m. and the walkers taking off at 11 a.m. from First Baptist Church at the corner of Hillsborough and Salisbury streets in downtown Raleigh. If you’d like to register to walk and/or make a donation, visit 2025 CROP Hunger Walk – Community United Church of Christ – Raleigh. Donations may also be made through the church’s Breeze site by selecting “CROP Walk.” Prefer to donate by check? Please make it payable to “CWS/CROP” and place it in the offering plate. If you’d like to track your donation through the church, you can make the check payable to CUCC with “CWS/CROP” in the memo line.

Each year, the Raleigh CROP Walk uses 25 percent of the funds raised to support local organizations. The recipients for 2025 are Urban Ministries, Catholic Parish Outreach, Oak City Cares, A Place at the Table and Round Table Fellowship at Pullen Memorial Baptist Church. The remaining 75 percent is put to use in the U.S. and around the world.

You can also support the CROP Walk by helping with the annual yard sale on November 1 or stopping by between 8am-noon that day to pick out a treasure to take home. For more information about the CROP Walk or the yard sale, please contact Merrilee Jacobson at 919-274-4539.
