Consider the option of traveling together by train! The Amtrak train leaves Union Station in Raleigh at 10:00 a.m. and arrives in Greensboro at 11:33. The museum is less than ½ mile from the train station. Some will choose to walk to the museum. Others may choose to use public transit, Uber or Lyft. There are several restaurants in the vicinity to get a bite of lunch before the museum tour. The return trip by train leaves Greensboro at 3:54 p.m. and arrives in Raleigh at 5:36. Those who wish to remain in Greensboro a bit longer may catch the 6:55 p.m. train. Those traveling by train should purchase their own train tickets. (use green “Book Now” button on this page) A one-way train ticket costs about $12, depending on when purchased and from which outlet. The train also has a stop in Cary where the parking is easier.

You may also choose to drive yourself and meet us at the Center and Museum by 1:15.
