Arts in Worship is looking to sprinkle visual art and poetry in some of our Sunday service bulletins, like the art and poetry you may have seen for our recent baby baptism. We would like this art to come, first and foremost, from our CUCC members. Therefore, we are calling on all poets and visual artists who might be interested in participating in this wonderful effort.
We are planning to ask for poems and drawings per church season. You can decide if you would like to join, each time we kick off another cycle. For now, we would like to know who is generally interested. More information will be shared once we have compiled our list of volunteer artists. Trina Sage will organize the visual art contributions and Angelika Teuber the poems.
We are also calling on all other artists and crafters, sewing, collaging, paper mache, macramé, knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. We are currently working on starting an art project and would love to work with you.
If you do anything creative and would like to participate in art projects for the church, please open this Google form and tell us which art or craft you do. We will then get in touch with you to discuss future projects. – Thank you!
