NewsOn a table full of plates of snacks, cream and blue pottery plate has a pile of bite-sized pieces of brown, unleavened bread.

Why we enjoy it at fellowship, of course!

In order to ensure that Christ’s table is accessible to everyone, we distribute gluten-free crackers and grape juice during communion.  But to watch the breaking of a tiny cracker during the consecration wouldn’t be accessible or very satisfying.  Solution? Members of our congregation bake beautiful and delicious loaves of bread for the consecration and we eat the loaves during fellowship after worship.  Thank you, Greg Flynn and Joan McAllister, two of our recent bread bakers.
