The children voted unanimously that our Sunday School charity for 2025 will be the SPCA. Every year the children select a charity and collect their weekly offerings toward that goal.
Spring Highlights
On Palm Sunday, April 13, the children will sing during worship. This includes preschoolers and the elementary class. We will begin rehearsing during Sunday School in the coming weeks.
Our annual Easter Egg hunt is planned for Palm Sunday, April 13, after worship. Children, remember to bring your basket. In case of rain the hunt will be on Easter Sunday, April 20.
Our annual hot dog cookout for children and their families will be after worship on May 4 around the fire pit. More details will come closer to the date.
Welcoming Miss Sydney
Our new Sunday School assistant, Sydney Slate, was introduced on Sunday. She is working to give our children in the nursery a short story time each week and assist them with special projects. Our wonderful caregivers are still in the nursery each week. Sydney is also working with me in the elementary class from time to time.
