Let’s all honor, celebrate and draw near to the Winter Solstice, the longest night. Waiting in the dark can feel difficult and yet it can also be a time of deep blessing. Treasures can be found in the stillness and depth of the night. Let’s enjoy the comfort of each other’s company as we wait together in the dark, sharing poetry, scripture, and story.

You are invited to find or write a favorite reading to share, turn off your lights, light a candle, and join us on Zoom Dec 21 at 6:30pm as we draw near to the deep darkness.

“I will give you the treasures of darkness
and riches hidden in the secret places,
so that you may know that it is I, the Lord,
the God of Israel, who call you by your name.” (Isaiah 45:3)
