In addition to checking in with one another and on our projects, we’ll watch a 17 minute film, Segregated by Design, which details the systemic acts of the federal government that resulted in the current wealth gap between black and white Americans. Average wealth for white families is 10 times that for black families. We’ll discuss reactions and possible actions after the film.
