The Racial Justice Pilgrimage fundraiser yard sale continues for a second fabulous week, May 7, 8-noon, at 3312 Octavia Street, near the intersection of Gorman and Avent Ferry.
Last Saturday’s yard sale raised $1,000, but we still have a lot of wonderful items to sell. So, we’re going to do it again this Saturday! If you’re available on Friday, May 6 to pull out even more items from my friend’s closets and cupboards, please join us any time between 9am and noon. Volunteers are also need on Saturday from 8am until noon (for the yard sale) and then from 12-2pm to pack everything up for the Green Chair Project or a local thrift store.
Of course, we invite you to come shop, too. You’ll find Pyrex serving dishes (including orphaned lids of all sizes and shapes!), assorted candles, sticks and vases, gardening tools and watering cans, books galore (some in German), fine crystal and pottery, and linens. Fun vintage (1960s and 70s) ware, too – perfect for bringing a hot meal to someone and telling them not to bother returning the plate.
Thanks for your help!
