What happens at Justice Coffee? Friendship and conversation. We’re a mix of folks from CUCC and the community, friends of friends dropping in to chew over the events of the day and encourage one another. Every now and then we will have an invited community leader to spark our conversation. While we do share information about events and advocacy actions, this is definitely not a planning meeting.
Justice Coffee, sponsored by the Do Justice Ministry, is Tuesday mornings at 8:30am at Union Special bakery and cafe.
All are welcome, whether part of Community UCC or not. Please come and join us if you are able and bring a friend!
New: After Tuesday’s conversation on an American Chemical Society podcast on the history of plastic containers, some of us are going to try to remember to bring our own coffee mug. We confirmed with Union Special that this is okay with them; of course, we still buy the coffee. Don’t let forgetting a mug stop you, though.
